West Kerry Attractions and Local Links

West Kerry is one of the most beautiful areas of Ireland. The Courtyard cottages lie on the edge of Tralee Bay, an ideal situation from which to explore in any direction. To the West you have the renowned Dingle peninsula, and to the south, the memorable Ring of Kerry. Killarney's beautiful lakes and glens lie to our East, and the northerly coastal drive to Limerick is spectacular, passing through Ballybunion with its golf course where President Clinton played in 1998. Last year Ballybunion, less than an hour's drive from Tralee, hosted the 2001 Irish Open Golf Tournament.
